Using the computer to generate multiples of my drawings, this series echoes through iteration the figure’s form as it repeats the movements used to complete the tasks of the home.
These multiples echo the days and years of domestic chores that often fall to the female family members. Sometimes chores can be a drag, but most of the time I enjoy the rituals of cleaning, and find it to be an important part of the contentious care I give to my family and my environment. This series asks the viewer to engage and contemplate the little things that make up a life.
